3 Year Olds Newsletter

Dear Parent,
Today we read about angels. Last week was the Feast of the Guardian angels. Each of us was given an angel by God to watch over and guide us.Today I gave each child a guardian angel clip. Ask him/her to show it to you. We also painted our own angels and named them. They will be coming home next time. Our learning goals were: I can paint with watercolor paints, I can glue the letters in my name, I can find my name, I can follow directions to play a new game, I can listen to the teacher, and I can sing a song. We also received the popsicle snack for PTO membership. Today your child is bringing home a flier for the craft show that is on Saturday here at St. Patrick and a flier for the next Dine to Donate at Chick-fil-a on October 16th. Please return the Grandparents' Day reservation forms as soon as possible.
Our orange and blue game bag is coming around too. Be on the lookout for your family's turn!

Reminders
October 9- No school for professional development
October 11- Craft Show from 9:00-3:00. Entrance fee is $5 for those over 10 years of age.
October 14- Pumpkin Carving from 6:30-8:00PM Bring a pumpkin and a snack to share. RSVP if possible.
October 16- Dine to Donate at Chick-fil-a in Ft. Wright from 4:00-9:00 PM
October 17- Trunk or Treat 6:00-8:00 PM in the parking lot. Spread the word! Hayrides, a DJ and candy for free. Food and kid's games for sale. Please let me know if you are going to use your car to hand out candy. Spots are limited. 
October 21- Kickoff Event for Feed the Need at 6:30. More information is coming.
October 23- Grandparents' Day. (AM class 10:30-11:30) (PM class 2:00-3:00) 
***October 28- Halloween Party This is a change from the original school calendar
( AM class 10:30-11:30) (PM class 2:00-3:00) Parents and siblings welcomed.
