3 Year Olds Newsletter
Dear Parent,
I hope you were all able to relax and enjoy some time together. This week we are celebrating Jesus' birth and the arrival of the three wise men. Our party is on Thursday. Please be sure to send in a wrapped book for our book exchange marked from your child to "a Boy" or to "a Girl".Parents or other family members and siblings are always welcome to attend. The children really look forward to someone coming in for the party if possible! The times are below. We will be reading several accounts of the Christmas story and visiting the Nativity scene in church so the children can get a good sense of what happened and who was there.
Several things will be coming home in the folders tomorrow. There will be the monthly activity sheet for the children to complete and return for a prize. This one has to do with hunting for letters. There will also be an activity packet that your child can work on if you wish. It says "in case of a snow day packet." You can save it for a snow day or let your child do a little at a time. It can also be returned for a prize. The children look forward to the prize box as you can tell!
I am continuing to work on assessments and will have them complete by the end of the month.

Tip #6 for Parents from Preschool Teachers
Praise is key, especially if your child is not in a cooperative phase. Try to catch her being good. Kids repeat behaviors that get attention.
Have a blessed week!
Sincerely,
Pamela Nunnelley
