4 Year Olds Newsletter

Q Week       Four Year Old Week of February 5-9 

This week letter Qq will come visit us! We will do a letter hunt and dance to DannyGo! 
Monday we will:
-Look and find Qqs in stars and then do a maze to follow the Qqs. 
-Do our Queen and King book.
-Color pictures of items that start with Qq and write the letter Qq. 
-We will read “The Letter Q Book”
-The King will introduce himself and his poster. 
Wednesday we will:
-Color, cut and paste items that begin with the letter Q, then write Upper/Lower case Qq.
-Our religion for the week will be that Jesus is our friend. 
-Our art will be Q is for Queen.
-We will read “Quiet as a Cricket.”
-The king will bring in his favorite book and we will read it. 
Friday we will:
-Write 8 letter Q words
-Find all the Qs in our Q book 
-Play a pattern game to learn more about patterns.
-We will read “Click, Clack, Quackity-Quack”

Please when you are addressing your child’s Valentine’s Day cards, only write your child’s name on the card or gift. EX. To:(leave blank)  From: Whitney 
We have 19 kids in the AM class and 6 kids in the PM class. 
We will be decorating a bag at school for our party.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:
February 14- Valentine’s Day Party 1030-1130 (AM class) and 2-3(PM class). Parents and siblings are welcome! 
February 16- 1st Fish Fry On 
February 18 Family Stations of the Cross 9:45am-10:45am in the church.  
February 19- No School (President’s Day)
February 21st- Library Day

Please bring a full water bottle everyday, only with water please.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILDREN’S FOLDERS EVERYDAY.
