3 Year Olds Newsletter

Dear Parent,
This week we are reading The Missing Mitten Mystery and Snowballs. Of course, when I plan to read books about snow we would have warm weather! Our learning goals are: I can listen to a story, I can follow directions in a song, I can sort pictures by shape, I can count the letters in my name, I can find matches, I can make shapes out of straight wooden pieces and curved wooden pieces, I can tell the difference between a push and a pull, I can make a paper snowman and I can sort objects used in hot weather and those used in cold weather.

If you put up an Open House sign please return it for us to use again next year. Thanks for helping us publicize our school!

Tips for Parents From Preschool Teachers
19. Involve her in righting her wrongs. If you find her coloring on the walls, have her help wash it off. If she knocks over a playmate's block tower, ask her to help rebuild it.

Reminders
February 13- Valentine Party (AM 10:30-11:30) (PM 2:00-3:00) Families are invited. Please send in a valentine for 17 children (AM class) or 12 children (PM class) from your child. We will make Valentine bags in class to put their goodies in.
February 14- Ash Wednesday  Masses are at 7:35 AM and 7:00 PM.
February 16- St. Patrick Lenten Fish Fry #1 4:30-7:30 PM Dine in and Drive Thru. Please consider helping by donating desserts (drop off with your child on Thursdays), volunteering or participating. Contact Mrs. Nunnelley if more information is needed.
February 18- Family Stations of the Cross from 9:45-10:45 AM in the church. All are invited.
