3 Year Olds Newsletter

Dear Parent,
This week we are in much anticipation of the hatching of our eggs. We will be reading and learning about animals that hatch from eggs. We will read Hatch and Whose Eggs Are These? as well as watching a video of a chick hatching. We are also finishing up our end of the year assessments. Our learning goals are: I can listen to a story, I can count objects to four. I can identify the numbers to 4, I can paint an egg, I can identify ways to take care of things and people, I can cut on a line, I can tear paper, I can clap along to a beat, I can write my name, I can order the letters in my name I can sequence how a chick hatches. We also heard the story of Jesus the Good Shepherd today and chose a sheep to be us.

Tip #16 for Parents From Preschool Teachers
 Let your child work out minor squabbles. Instead of swooping in to settle disputes, stand back and let them work it out (unless they're hitting each other). You won't always be there to rescue your child.
