3 Year Olds Newsletter
Dear Parent,
For the first week of Spring, we are learning about living and nonliving things. We will be reading Do you Know Which Ones Will Grow? and watching Plants Can't Sit Still. We will be looking at the parts of a plant, sorting items by living and nonliving, identifying things a plant needs to grow, sprouting seeds, making our Week Five Lenten symbol, and learning about the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. On Thursday, please bring in something that grows.

Tip #13 for Parents From Preschool Teachers
Prioritize Play. Preschool teachers said over and over again that kids today are less able to play imaginatively than kids of a decade or two ago. Too much of their day is structured in supervised activities. Get comfortable saying "Go Play." It's not your job to make sure your child is entertained 24/7. Let her get a little bored. But make sure she has items such as dress-up clothes, paper and paint, a big cardboard box, and playdough.
We are still accepting small items to go inside the Easter eggs if you wish to donate.
Look for signs of God and have a blessed week!
Sincerely,
Pamela Nunnelley
