3 Year Olds Newsletter

Dear Parent,

This week we are celebrating the Feast Day of St. Patrick. Please wear green on Tuesday and bring in something green on Thursday from home that fits in your child's backpack. We will graph where we wore green, listen to a story about St. Patrick, sing some leprechaun songs, fingerpaint to make green, trace to make a shamrock, use shapes to make a St. Patrick themed picture, count out items to match the numbers to 10, read Leprechaun on the Loose and put together a shamrock puzzle. We will also continue to add pieces to our Stations of the Cross play set. 

Reminders

March 20- Fish Fry #5 from 4:30-7:30 PM.
March 24- Quarter Auction Doors open at 6:00PM Bring some friends or family. Food, drinks and fun!
March 31- Easter Egg Hunt at school 11:00 for AM class and 2:30 for PM class. Parents and siblings are welcome to attend.
April 2-12 No school for Spring Break

Tip #12 for Parents from Preschool Teachers

No ifs. Make requests in language that assumes cooperation. "If you finish putting away your crayons, we can go to the park," suggests that perhaps your child won't clean up his crayons. Try instead: "When you put your crayons away, we'll go to the park."
