3 Year Olds Newsletter

Dear Parent,

This week we continue to prepare for Christmas. We are "lighting" a candle each week on our Advent wreath and singing about Jesus' coming. We are also opening a present each day to add a figure to the nativity set. We have a shepherd friend who will be hiding in our room each day for the children to find. We will continue to make presents this week. We will also have our lesson on personal boundaries tomorrow. 

St. Nick has left a gift for your child at school that will be coming home tomorrow. Please remember that we do not have a Christmas party at school. Our Epiphany party will be when we return from the Christmas break since that is when the three wise men brought gifts to Jesus. Your child will need to have a wrapped book ($5 or less) for our book exchange marked "To a Boy" or "To a Girl." You can send it in early if you wish.

We do try to go outside every class day, so please have your child dressed appropriately with whatever winter gear you feel is necessary to keep him/her warm.

Reminders

December 11- Christmas concert in the church at 6:30 PM. Please let us know if your child is not attending. Children will meet in the classroom. There will be a reception following in the church Hall.

December 20- January 4 No school for Christmas Break

If you are able to send in some cookies for our Christmas concert reception, it would be appreciated.
